Kamleh Nicola is a partner in Baker McKenzie’s Toronto office and a member of the North America Healthcare and Life Sciences Steering Committee. Kamleh’s practice is primarily in intellectual property, dispute resolution and health regulatory law. Kamleh regularly advises clients on the intersection of patent law and pharmaceutical law, as well as the regulatory aspects of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, including strategic advice relating to product approval and launch, marketing, labelling and pricing, establishment licensing, clinical trials, governance and compliance.
Kamleh is an active member of the firm’s North American Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Anti-Racism Taskforce. Kamleh is also a past-chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s (CBA) Intellectual Property Section and current chair of the CBA’s Federal Courts Bench and Bar Liaison Committee. She is ranked by IAM Patent 1000, Who’s Who Legal: Patents, and LMG’s Women in Business Law – Patents. Kamleh has also been shortlisted as a finalist for the Women in Business Law Awards Americas 2021 – Patent Lawyer of the Year.
