Marc Van de Looverbosch is a lead lawyer in the Antwerp office. He advises clients on all aspects of financial services regulation, structuring and litigation, with an emphasis on crypto-related projects. Before joining DLA Piper, Marc gained substantial experience as a lawyer in the corporate finance department of another reputable international law firm, where he focused on public capital raisings and M&A work.
In addition to his work as a lawyer, Marc is currently conducting PhD research on good faith acquisition of financial assets at KU Leuven (Belgium). He has published several articles on corporate and financial law and blockchain technology, including the first article in Belgian literature on crypto-securities.
Marc has law degrees from KU Leuven and the University of Antwerp.
