Masahito Nakai started practising in March 1992 and is widely recognised as one of the leading immigration lawyers in Japan. The managing partner of Nakai Immigration Services LPC, Masahito has also been a lecturer and speaker on immigration and nationality topics on numerous occasions, including at the International Bar Association, an American law school, Nagoya University, Tsukuba University and foreign chambers of commerce in Tokyo. He was the chair of the Japan Immigration Law Practitioners Association from its foundation by himself in 2011 until 2017. Masahito is co-author of the Guidebook for International Marriage, a go-to text for most Japanese immigration lawyers. He is a member of the Tokyo Gyoseishoshi Lawyers Association and has handled not only corporate applications, but also difficult individual cases.
