Matthew Weiniger QC is co-head of Linklaters’ trade law practice. He has been involved in trade law matters alongside his investment arbitration practice for over 20 years. He has worked on public international law disputes for many years and has represented states and private sector clients in major cases such the Railways Lands Affair dispute between Malaysia and Singapore and the Eurotunnel claim against France and Great Britain. Matthew was one of the leaders of the Linklaters trade law response to the issues thrown up by the Brexit referendum. He has also designed and delivered training sessions on trade and investment law to the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office’s Diplomatic Academy.
