During more than 9 years of professional experience, Mauricio has developed his practice in matters of national and international taxation, planning and deployment of tax structures, and tax disputes. Before joining Allende Bascuñan in 2020, he worked as a Tax Manager at Deloitte, as a supervisor attorney at the Large Taxpayers Directorate of the Chilean Internal Revenue Service (“SII”) and as a tax attorney at KPMG.
Mauricio graduated with honors from Universidad Católica de Chile’s School of Law (2011), obtaining a Diploma in Tax Planning and Management at Universidad de Chile’s Economics Faculty (2015). Also, he obtained a Master of Laws degree (LLM) in Taxation from Queen Mary University of London (2019).
Since 2012, he works as an Assistant Professor of the modules “Tax Law I and II” at Universidad Católica de Chile’s School of Law.
