Mihir Naniwadekar practises as counsel at the Chambers of Mihir Naniwadekar. He graduated (BA, LLB) with a University Prize in Law & Economics from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), and specialises in tax litigation in commercial arbitration. He has appeared as lead counsel in several reported tax judgments of the Bombay High Court and has also been appointed amicus curiae by the High Court to assist the Court on substantial questions of tax law. He has particular expertise in direct tax (domestic as well as international) disputes, and also advises clients on treaty-related and transfer pricing matters. Mihir’s articles have been published in several peer-reviewed journals, and he has offered courses on commercial law as Visiting Faculty at the NLSIU. He regularly accepts appointments as arbitrator in commercial disputes. Mihir is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
