Mona Yapova is a trainee solicitor in the London office of Constantine Cannon LLP. She works primarily with the Art and Cultural Property Law Group and regularly assists the Commercial Litigation and Whistleblower Representation Groups. Mona assists with transactional, regulatory, and complex contentious matters. She has worked for clients such as government entities, corporations, museums, galleries, auction houses, collectors, artists, and antique dealers in both domestic and cross-border matters.

Prior to joining Constantine Cannon, Mona acquired experience internationally while working at the Guggenheim Museum in Venice and the State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg. Mona has also researched and studied the collections of leading UK museums while completing her graduate studies at the Courtauld Institute of Art where she focused on 15th century Persian arts and contemporary art. Mona holds an LLB in English Law and French Law from King’s College London, a Maîtrise en Droit from the Sorbonne Law School, and a Graduate Diploma in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art. She speaks French and Bulgarian, and has a proficiency in Italian and Spanish.
