Patricia Vivar Zirate is a Mexican mining lawyer based in Mexico City, with a law degree from Universidad La Salle, AC (2002), and a diploma course on corporate law from the Mexican Bar Association, BC (2005), who started her professional career in 1999 as a law clerk in one of the most well recognised mining firms in Mexico. She has been focused on advising mining companies in Mexico, from an early stage of exploration until the construction of a mine site and the production of minerals.
Mrs Vivar is involved in the incorporation of Mexican companies and the corporate management of mercantile companies, as well as drafting agreements in general and representing important corporate foreign groups with business in Mexico.
During her working life, Mrs Vivar has been leading counsel for several acquisitions and financing to mining projects in Mexico, and has broad experience in preparing and delivering title opinions to third parties, auditors and regulatory authorities, acting as an impartial counsel in providing key information to assess the legal status of several mining projects located in Mexico.
She is an active partner of the Mexican Mining, Metallurgy and Geology Engineer Association, AC, and member of the Prospector and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC).
