Petar Ivanov, holder of a Dipl. iur. degree from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, is a leading associate with TBK’s financial services law group. Petar specialises in the field of capital markets and banking regulations and has provided large international and domestic clients with both transactional support and legal advice on a variety of topics, including debt and equity transactions, derivatives transactions, financing and collateralisation, market abuse prevention, conduct of business requirements for leading banks and investment firms. Petar has also advised clients in public enforcement proceedings related to market abuse. Petar Ivanov is a rising legal expert and is recognised in the IFLR1000 legal rankings. He has authored and co-authored legal publications in Bulgarian, English and German. He has been involved with the drafting of financial sector laws and regulations in Bulgaria, including the transposition of the EU’s Covered Bond Directive.
