Dr. Philipp Jost is a Senior Associate in the Tax Law practice of Arendt & Medernach.
He advises clients on international tax planning questions and gives tax advice in connection with cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions, corporate restructurings and tax controversies. Philipp specialises in tax structuring for investment funds, in particular with respect to German investments and/or investors.
Before joining Arendt & Medernach in 2016, he worked as a tax lawyer for an international law firm in Frankfurt for several years.
He holds a PhD from Konstanz University on the topic of German CFC regulation and EU tax law (Dr. iur.) as well as a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in commercial law from Auckland University.
Philipp is a member of the Frankfurt Bar (Germany). He is also a member of the International Fiscal Association and the German Taxation Lawyers Association (DStJG).
