Roberta Laghi is an associate in the Antitrust, Competition and Trade Italian practice of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. Her practice focuses on EU and Italian competition law as well as on foreign investment control regulations. Her experience covers foreign investment control proceedings and national and EU proceedings related to cartels, abuse of dominance, merger control and unfair commercial practices across a wide range of sectors, including automotive, pharmaceutical, banking, manufacturing and retail. She also gained experience in antitrust litigations, audits and compliance programs for multinational companies.
Prior to joining Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Roberta practised in the International, EU and Competition law department of a leading Italian law firm.
Roberta graduated in law from the LUISS Guido Carli University and is admitted to the Italian Bar. Roberta speaks Italian and English and has a basic knowledge of French and Spanish.
