Samnangvathana Sor’s areas of expertise focuses on advising on labour, social security, immigration law and commercial law interpretation, registration compliance for companies, market entry for education and tourism sectors, and review and preparation of transactions and employment documents. Her experience also covers analysing corporate, labour and specific licensing issues in M&A projects. Her experience has been solicited by numerous foreign investors from the education, tourism and hospitality industries wishing to enter the Cambodian market and seeking local counsel. She previously worked at the Arbitration Council Foundation, where she provided direct arbitration services to arbitrators in labour dispute cases. She holds an LLM (Transnational Law and Business University, Seoul), an LLB (Royal University of Law and Economics, Phnom Penh) and a BEd – English (Royal University of Phnom Penh).
