Shivam Jha is a senior associate in AZB’s competition and antitrust practice. Shivam has advised a number of clients on complex merger control proceedings in India, including many large Indian and global conglomerates, private equity investors and sovereign wealth funds. His experience cuts across multiple industries, including media and entertainment, renewable energy, information technology and IT-enabled services, telecommunications, automobile, electronics, internet and internet-enabled services, real estate, oil and natural gas, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, retail, steel, and cement. He represents clients at the Competition Commission of India as well as the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal in antitrust investigations in relation to cartels, vertical restraints and abuse of dominance issues, and has advised clients on compliance, leniency and other antitrust issues in the functioning of their businesses. Shivam earned his BA, LLB with honours at Jindal Global Law School in 2016.
