Stephen Mallowah is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over two decades of legal experience in the Kenyan public and private sector. He holds advanced degrees in Corporate Law (LLM) as well as in Public Policy (MSc). He has expertise in several specialised areas of law, including capital markets and financial services, structured and project finance, energy and extractives. Additionally, he provides advisory services to clients on regulatory compliance, public policy and legislative engagement. Stephen is one of the pioneering lawyers in Kenya in the area of public-private partnerships (PPPs) and also heads the firm’s new Climate Change and Sustainability Practice. He is a member of the PPP Committee at the National Treasury and sits on various for-profit and non-profit boards.
