Tarek Badrakhan is an economic analyst in NERA’s London office focusing on international arbitration and regulatory finance. Mr Badrakhan has supported expert testimony on quantum and damages assessment before ICSID, ICC, PCA and SIAC. He has worked on cases involving the valuation of expropriated assets, damages assessments following government intervention and breaches of contract, lost profit assessments for construction delays, and disputes involving regulated infrastructure assets. His disputes experience has covered numerous industries, including regulated utilities, energy, transport, real estate and manufacturing.
Besides his work on arbitration and disputes, Mr Badrakhan also focuses on the economics of regulated networks, profitability assessment and political landscape evaluation. His work on regulatory issues has covered due diligence for asset acquisitions, financial modelling and cost of capital estimation.
