Vignesh Vaerhn is a partner in Allen & Gledhill’s intellectual property practice. His areas of expertise span all forms of intellectual property, including intellectual property and information technology litigation and disputes. He has extensive experience in intellectual property infringement, revocation, opposition and entitlement actions, including copyright disputes, both civil and criminal. He has successfully advised and conducted proceedings for the recovery of domain and business names, as well as disputes relating to standard essential patents and semiconductor patents.
He advises on the protection of trade secrets and confidential information, and on licensing-related regulatory issues; for example, in relation to pharmaceutical products in Singapore. He also maintains an advisory practice dealing with intellectual property protection and portfolio management, in particular intellectual property exploitation strategies, including issues arising out of intellectual property audits, due diligence and commercialisation.
Of mixed heritage, Vignesh speaks, reads and writes both Japanese and Mandarin. Vignesh joined Allen & Gledhill in 2005 and has been a partner since 2010. Vignesh is a member of the Singapore Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy Service panel.
