Henner Heßlau is a Senior Associate in the Tax Law practice of Arendt & Medernach’s New York office.
He advises clients on international tax matters, cross-border M&A transactions, restructuring with respect to BEPS and ATAD, tax controversies and structuring of regulated and unregulated investment funds, as well as issues of tax compliance. Henner has a special focus on US clients and their needs.
Before joining Arendt & Medernach in 2016, he worked in the Tax Law practice of a Magic Circle law firm in Luxembourg.
Henner has studied at the Universities of Trier, Nice and Münster, specialising in Tax Law. He is a German-qualified lawyer and has passed Germany’s first and second state law examinations.
Henner is a member of the Bars of both Germany and Luxembourg (List I). He is also a member of the German-French Lawyers’ Association, and of the tax law working group of the German-American Lawyers’ Association.
