Anthony Theau-Laurent is a partner in Accuracy’s London office. He provides advice and independent expertise on matters pertaining to corporate finance and valuation in contentious and non-contentious contexts.
Anthony specialises in the assessment of complex damages arising from, inter alia, breaches of commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, expropriation, construction delays and fraud. He has testified in numerous disputes arbitrated under the rules of the ICC, LCIA, DIFC, ICSID and UNCITRAL, with claims ranging from US$5 million to several billion US dollars. Anthony has been recognised among the leading expert witnesses for quantum of damages by Who’s Who Legal since 2016.
Anthony also regularly advises organisations in a range of strategic situations, such as the acquisition or divestment of businesses, and leads financial investigations in relation to allegations of fraud, bribery and corruption.
Much of Anthony’s work has been in an international context, involving disputes and transactions in the UK, Europe, MENA, Africa, North America and Asia. These assignments covered a wide range of sectors, including media and telecom, energy, mining and utilities, civil engineering, construction, automotive and distribution.
Anthony holds a Master of Sciences degree from HEC School of Management in Paris and is able to testify in English as well as in French.
