Viren Mascarenhas is a partner in the trial and global disputes group of King & Spalding LLP, where he specialises in investment arbitration, commercial arbitration and public international law. He is also an adjunct professor at Columbia Law School, where he teaches international arbitration. He has been recognised for his accomplishments in the field of international arbitration by Chambers Global, Chambers USA, Lawdragon Global Litigation 500, Euromoney Legal Media Awards, Law360 and Latinvex. He has also been recognised more generally for his accomplishments as a lawyer by the National South Asian Bar Association, Crain’s New York Business, the New York Law Journal and the American Bar Association. He serves on the boards of International Independent Legal Advocates and the Global Justice Center, and is co-chair of the Business and Human Rights Working Group of the New York City Bar Association.
