Chris Magrath is the senior partner of Magrath LLP, a firm that he established 24 years ago, and is the head of the immigration and employment law departments.
Mr Magrath is a practising English solicitor, and a member of the New York Bar. He has over 25 years of cross-border experience in corporate and private UK and US immigration. He also assists clients from the global financial community, as well as representing commercial clients and international business brands. He is a director of British American Business Inc.
Mr Magrath has lectured extensively on immigration and employment issues in the UK, the US and Europe. With his expertise in both immigration and employment law, Chris advises and acts on a wide spectrum of legal matters, ranging from day-to-day HR problems, to addressing major transactional and strategic issues for multinational clients. He has extensive knowledge of the points-based system in the United Kingdom.
Mr Magrath’s previous publications include Working in the United Kingdom, A Guide to UK Immigration Law for Overseas Nationals, and A Practical Guide to Disciplinary, Grievance and Performance Management.
