Mario A Rognoni H obtained a bachelor’s degree in law and political science from Santa Maria La Antigua University in Panama in 1996 and a master degree’s focusing on corporate and commercial law at Columbia University in the City of New York in 2000. He worked for nine years in the legal department at the Superintendence of Banks in Panama (1997–1999, 2000–2007), dealing with all aspects of the Banking Law and regulations. He then worked at another local law firm in Panama from 2007 to 2009, focusing on corporate and commercial law and as a legal adviser for the Vice-Minister of Foreign Trade (2009–2011) focusing on foreign trade, exportation, investments and legislation. He started working at Arosemena Noriega & Contreras as an associate in December 2011. He practises financial law, labour law, commercial law and administrative law. He is a member of Panama’s National Bar Association.
