Prechaya’s practice focuses mainly on commercial litigation, dispute resolution, labour and employment law, debt restructuring and rehabilitation.

He has represented multinational and local corporate clients in large scale commercial litigation and in various areas including labour, construction, banking and finance, intellectual property and international transactions. In addition, he has been very active in the area of employment litigation and in arbitration matters.

Prechaya has advised various foreign and local banks as well as large manufacturing companies with respect to labour and employment matters, particularly concerning lay-offs, redundancy, employments benefits and labour relations matters. He has also acted as the trial counsel for employer companies in labour litigation in the Central Labour Court in more than 100 cases.

In addition, Prechaya acted as a trial counsel for a Thai subsidiary of a multinational telephone company in controversial and widely publicised litigation regarding a telephone directory dispute. He also acted as the trial counsel for the Thai subsidiary of a US-based automobile manufacturer in litigation concerning a multibillion baht dispute concerning a distributorship agreement. He has represented trial counsel for a leading local power and energy company in litigation relating to a multibillion baht dispute concerning a major power and mining project development.

He obtained his LLB (with honours) from Chulalongkorn University and is admitted to the Thai Bar Association.
