Rosa (Lisa) Díaz graduated cum laude from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in Santo Domingo in the year 2000. She has an LLM in Business Law from the same university. Prior to joining Jiménez Cruz Peña in 2003, Mrs Díaz worked five years at the local office of an international firm, the last three of which in the position of associate. She is the partner in charge of Jiménez Cruz Peña´s litigation and labour departments. She specialises in labour and employment, alternative dispute resolution, and litigation of civil, commercial, labour, and administrative matters. Rosa also works with industries such as civil aviation, sports and entertainment, banking, free zones, telecommunications, mining, hotels and tourism.

Rosa regularly counsels on civil aviation matters in connection to incorporation of airlines in the Dominican Republic and in the compliance with the local regulations and with the civil aviation entities. This includes obtaining operations permits, and their renewal, approval of operations specifications, security programmes, as well as in day-to-day matters with the authorities.   

Rosa has participated in multiple forums related to her areas of practice as speaker, locally and internationally.

She has been recognised in Chambers Latin America for the years 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016, as well as by The Legal 500 2012, 2015 and 2016.
