Gaurav Bansal is an associate in AZB’s competition law practice and is based out of Mumbai. Gaurav has advised and represented clients in several ongoing and completed investigations before the Director General’s Office of the CCI, the Competition Appellate Tribunal (COMPAT) and the Delhi High Court for cartel and abuse-of-dominance cases in various sectors including, cement, airlines, automobiles, tyres and information technology. He has also advised and assisted in the submission of merger control notifications to the CCI and also in preparing competition compliance programmes for clients. Prior to joining AZB & Partners, Gaurav had worked with the Tata Sons group legal department and Khaitan and Co’s antitrust practice. Gaurav graduated from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and then completed his LLM (corporate and financial law) in 2012 from OP Jindal Global University.
